Frankly speaking, there is no panacea to any of the complex social issues I've mentioned. However, I am confident that if enough people from within intentionally direct their efforts toward fostering qualities like civic and ecological responsibility, cooperation, creativity, and emotional intelligence, we can possibly avert immanent catastrophe of unprecedented proportions, including the potential for civilization, or even our species, to end very soon. The present way civilization is organized inhibits the adaptations required immediately in order for humanity, not just as a species, but as an ideal, to survive the environmental changes we're inducing, and education and art have the power to influence, rather than force, rapid adjustment to a more sustainable way of life. They are the last hope we have before armed resistance becomes the only means of defense. There are plenty of examples to demonstrate effective methods and practices for catalyzing and facilitating such transitions, including avant-garde art, revolutionary political movements, and experimental schools and programs of past and present throughout the world.
