Another part of my research involves the question of how to present this somewhat amorphous, inherently transgressive project within conventional institutions of both exhibition and instruction, such as a gallery or museum space, or a classroom. To address this, I've created indoor installations that include tents, forts made of carboard, different types of lighting, and multiple interactive elements that encourage hands-on creativity and exploration beyond the indoor environment. Using FM radio transmission, QR codes to maps and animations, collages of evocative photos taken at nearby areas, and structures that require the whole body to be engaged in unusual ways reminiscent of childlike play, I endeavor to promote a shared sense of curiosity, imagination, and ambition to interact meaningfully with the surroundings on campus, and with the world at large.
